Nate and Angela Landis' Biography Nate grew up in Ann Arbor, Michigan and later moved to Pennsyvania for middle school, high school and college.
He attended Eastern University in Philadelphia where he earned a BA in Sociology and Youth Ministry. While there, he met one of his life heroes and mentors, Tony Campolo.
After graduating in 1998, Nate went on to seminary at Gordon-Conwell in Boston to obtain a Masters of Divinity with an urban ministry emphasis.
Following seminary, he took a job at First Presbyterian Church of San Diego as Director of Student Ministries. That is where he met and married the joy of his life, his best friend, Angela. In April of 2007, Nate stepped out in faith to found the Urban Youth Collaborative, a partnership with FCA to holistically reach students in San Diego's urban communities.
Together, Nate and Angela are excited about being part of FCA and sharing the life changing message of Jesus Christ with athletes, students, coaches and teachers in San Diego County. |
