| Huddle Update
We are excited to be underway with the 2008-2009 school year. There are already 8 campuses meeting on a weekly basis, with mre coming soon with your help. Please check below to see if we are actve at your school. If we are, see you there! If not, please contact me so we can get a huddle launched and impact your campus with Christ's love. SCHOOLS WE ARE ACTIVELY SEEKING LEADERS AND COACHES Steele Canyon We have the support of Skyline Church to help get us started, but we need a teacher/coach and a few strong leaders to get us started. El Capitan I am in communication with a faculty member, but leaders need to step up. Monte Vista There is a teacher, but we need the students. We had a great group last year but need to get started again.
Please pray that we could gain entry and a powerful presence on each campus in the count this year! Want to Get Involved?
There are many ways that you can get involved with FCA.
- First, think about joining TeamFCA, it is our way of hearing from those interested in what FCA stands for and your way of keeping up to date through email and the internet.
- If you are interested in serving as a student leader or coach at your school, please e mail or call me so that we can meet and discuss the nest steps to starting a campus huddle.
Not a student but still want to be a part of FCA?
- We have started a new program, the 1200 Club. In Southern California, there are about 1200 Jr. High, High School, and college campuses. We are seeking someone, or a group pf people, to cover each campus in prayer. More info can be found at
www.1200club.org
As FCA staff, I also raise all my support to fund the ministry that the Lord has called me too. If you feel led to be a part of my Home Team (personal support group) at any level, please contact me as I would love to get together with you to share the vision the Lord has given FCA for East County.
I appreciate your interest and look forward to what we can do together on the platform that God has given us.

Meet Brian Schroeder East County FCA Staff Brian and Dianna were both raised in San Diego and met at Christian High School in El Cajon. They were married in July of 2003. After their wedding, they went to Los Angeles for the next three years. Brian attended UCLA and played baseball, and Dianna attended Pierce College earning an AA in the American Sign Language Interpreting Program. On the same day in June of 2006, Dianna graduated from college and Brian was drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals.
In May of 2007, Brian felt the Lord leading him out of baseball. He headed home to San Diego while praying for guidance and was led to the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. The FCA is a ministry that Brian is familiar with having served as a High School Huddle Leader and attending several Summer Sports Camps. Dianna is currently working as a Sign Language Interpreter for the San Diego Community College School District.
They are looking forward to serving the Lord through FCA in the East County. Please feel free to contact me anytime with questions or comments about FCA in East County, or anywhere for that manner. I am blessed to be able to serve the Lord in this community, so please ask!
