An FCA Family Event Celebrating The National Championship Football Teams
On Tuesday, January 5, FCA celebrated the 2010 National Championship Football Teams and the Influence athletics has on our nation. The entire University of Texas team came to FCA’s Bowl Breakfast, as well as All American Barrett Jones from Alabama. Over 850 guests were privileged to hear from UT center Chris Hall, punter John Gold, and defensive end Sam Acho. The stage was then turned over to a 12 year old boy, Jake Olson, who changed everyone’s life after sharing about dealing with adversity and clinging to Christ through every challenge in life. The Bobby Bowden award was presented to Colt McCoy for epitomizing the student-athlete who conducts himself as a faith model in the community, classroom and on the field. Coach Bobby Bowden from Florida State University capped of the morning by sharing with the group about being a Godly influence in every aspect of life. It was an incredible morning and we were blessed to be able to learn from some of the most influential college athletes and coaches today.
