Ben Mulder, Inland Empire Area Director

   Biography for Ben and Becky Mulder

Ben was raised in Iowa and Becky was raised in California. They met at Dordt College in Iowa, where Ben played basketball and enjoyed intramural sports and Becky pursued a teaching degree and worked in the campus library.

Ben graduated from Dordt College in 1979 with a degree in History.  Becky obtained her degree in teaching from Dordt College in 1977 and taught full time while Ben finished his education.  They were married in 1977 and have three children who are all currently pursuing higher education in Southern California.  Brandon, 23, is at Point Loma Nazarene University; Sarah, 21, is at Azusa Pacific University and Travis, 18, attends Crafton Hills Community College.

Ben and Becky both gave their lives to Christ at a young age through the blessing of growing up in Christian homes.  They attend and are actively involved in ministry at The River CRC in Redlands.

Ben most recently served as Athletic Director at Arrowhead Christian Academy and Athletic Trainer for the past 9 years.  Becky has worked as a Pre-school teacher in Redlands for the past 18 years.

Inland Empire Director Job Description

• Coordinate the FCA ministry in the Inland Empire of California.
• Implement a plan to add staff to effectively serve the entire Inland Empire Area of Southern California.
• Set up programs and plan events focused on utilizing coaches, athletes and athletics to share the Gospel with the students of the Inland Empire.
• Utilize the Southern California FCA Sports Camp to train, challenge and motivate students in their sport and walk with Christ.
• Work in cooperation with area churches to see more middle school, high school and college students in the local church.
