Greetings in Christ,

            We would like to include you in our Fellowship of Christian Athletes Huddle Speaker list.  This list will be made available to the Huddles we serve in San Diego County.   The Huddles (on Campus Bible Studies) are student led and student organized.  Each school runs their Huddle in their own way but all of them are focused on the message of Christ.  The meetings are typically 30 minutes long and speakers are asked to prepare a 10 to 15 minute presentation.  These Huddles are evangelistic in nature so the testimonies of people in the community give the student leaders examples that they can in turn use to share the Gospel message with their peers.  FCA is a nondenominational Christian organization and we ask that whatever the Lord leads you to speak upon, please keep it centered on the cross and leave denominational preferences at the door.   Below are a few "Helpful Hints".

Ÿ         Please give each request your prayerful consideration and return the call as soon as possible.

Ÿ         Please ask questions about each speaking opportunity regarding average attendance, location, and time.   Arrange a meeting place on campus for one of the student leaders to meet you and take you to the Room that you will be speaking at.

Ÿ         For speaking engagements such as churches, retreats, and special events you can discuss appropriate compensation.  We will let you know of opportunities as they become available.

Ÿ         Please let us know immediately if there are any problems with the distribution of your phone number and we will change it to our FCA office number.

Ÿ         We will try to update this list in September and January on a regular basis.  Please keep us informed of changes.

Ÿ         If you would like, we can provide you with a list of all our official huddles in San Diego County.  You are welcome to call a Huddle coach to let them know you would like to speak to their Huddle.
